Automatically set the shipping method for your customer as soon as they add a product to their cart. Options are added to the cart so that your customer can change their country and state and see and select an updated list of shipping options right on the cart.

Works with all third party shipping extenions and AJAX cart extensions.

Shipping on Cart

Basket Shipping allows your customers to see (and modify) their shipping method directly on the Magento shopping cart. This allows you to be up front about shipping costs and reduce the number of customers who exit your checkout at the shipping method stage.

Basket Shipping supports all Magento shipping extensions including Matrix Rates (free and premium).

GeoIP Shipping

While Basket Shipping doesn't include GeoIP functionality, it is possible to integrate it with your existing GeoIP software. Basket Shipping contains a config field where you can enter the cookie name used by your GeoIP software. This allows you to automatically set the shipping country and method based on the customers current location.

Very easy to install. Worked first time and gives a useful improvement to the shopping cart on our site.

There are "hacks" available which arguably could have achieved the same end-result. But what's the point in applying a risky hack when this simple extension only costs £40.

Nice and clean extension. Had some questions which were answered promptly within 24 hours.
Also had some conflicts with another extension which was solved in no time by Fishpig (thanks Ben), although it was caused by the other extension.
