To make moving between Magento and WordPress easier, we have developed the WordPress Admin auto-login feature. This feature is a stable part of WordPress Integration and if you are experiencing errors, it is most likely a local issue. WordPress Auto-Login Details

To add or change your WordPress Auto-Login details, login to your Magento Admin and select WordPress > Settings > WP Auto-Login Details. Once the page loads, enter your WordPress Admin username and password and press the save button. If you ever need to change your WordPress Admin details, repeat these steps being sure to enter your new details.

My Auto-Login details page is empty

If the page you enter your WordPress Auto-Login details on is empty, ensure that you haven't disabled the extension by going to System > Configuration > Advanced > Fishpig_Wordpress.

I Can't Auto-Login!

For most users, any auto-login problem is related to a mistake in their setup but for some people, everything is right and it still won't work. If this is the case, check the list below, which contains a few scenario's where auto-login won't work.

  • You are using HTTP authorisation as your site is in development.
  • You have set up your domain via your HOSTS file.
  • Your server does not have Curl enabled.

If none of the above applies to you, try logging into the WordPress Admin directly via a web browser. By doing this, you will see whether WordPress is correctly setup and if not, should be able to find a fix online. Once WordPress is setup correctly, the auto-login should work.
