Magento / WordPress Integration Manual Install

If possible, it is recommend that you use Magento Connect to install this extension as it will allow you to easily apply the frequently released updates.

To install the extension manually you will need to download and extract a compressed archive of the extension. To do this, select the 'Download & install manually' link from the WordPress Integration page, which is just below the blue download button. Once you have the files, you will need to upload them to your site using an FTP client (we love Transmit but any FTP client will do!).

Before uploading the files, ensure that the Magento cache and compiler are disabled

When you open the extension folder, you should have an app folder, js folder and a package.xml (you can ignore this file as you won't need it). If you're feeling lucky, you can simply merge the app and js folder with the app and js folder on your Magento site. If you're more cautious, you might want to manually move over single directories/files while preserving the directory structure.

Now that you have the files installed, logout of your Magento Admin (if you were already logged in) and then log back in.
